Fantastic HD capture of Zara's Juliet debut! Minor obstruction from one head blocking the right of the stage but worked around well. Minimal wandering and washout and just a few brief dropouts, particularly in the boring scene with all the men because my hand got tired. Full show is captured but the first 5 minutes are filmed very poorly, after the first song I move seats and the quality improves. Act 2 starts about a minute in.

This new musical is absolutely fantastic and is likely to do very well when it hits Broadway this season. Christy is perfectly cast as Anya, and she has great chemistry with Derek, Mary, and the rest of the cast. The music, sets, and costumes are all beautifully done as well. This is nearly perfectly captured with no obstruction and just a couple quick very dropouts. It’s filmed in 16:9, with a mix of wides, mediums, and close-ups. The sound is excellent. Includes playbill scans.

Closing show! Or “rock concert” if you ask Christy Altomare. Yeah so this is a pretty obstructed video. Everyone was really excited so people were standing up, people were moving around, and honestly I had a little trouble paying attending to my viewfinder with all of the tears streaming down my face. Like Beetlejuice I would say it's mostly like highlights, but all of the things that happen in the center part of the stage are captured really well and the video is DEFINITELY Christy centric. “Journey to the Past” is complete and gorgeous and you will cry. First act starts around when Anya meets Dmitry and the second act starts during “Crossing A Bridge.”

Second of three book-adaptation shows this week. Very glad that tech was figured out somewhere between the 'second first preview' and now. Understudies for Jules/Ondine and Prince Oliver/Edgar. Second Act starts most of the way through Best Day Ever due to wacky camera movements of me getting settled gave me a headache and I didn’t feel like passing that along. This recording then ends as Delilah is telling Edgar her version of the ending for Between the Lines due to spotting an usher. Nicely ends after the line of dialogue “You’re weird”.

Edited with Premiere Pro for the first time and I’m very proud of this video. Still a fair share of dropouts (mostly in Act 2), some washout, and a little camera wandering. Beautiful HD capture of the San Francisco company with the post-shutdown script. It's filmed in 16:9 with a mix of wides, mediums, and closeups that beautifully capture the show's magic. There's some minor obstructions: the balcony railing can be seen at the bottom during wides and when the action takes place all the way at the front and a head can be seen at the bottom right corner. There's almost no washout and wandering is minimal, and during darker scenes the action can be harder to make out. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

Previews! Picks up after 'Road to Hell.' Decent capture with a lot of beautiful zooms, two really annoying heads, and a drop out occasionally but never for long (For the first time in my mastering career I kept putting the camera down after musical numbers because I couldn't NOT clap). This was my first time seeing the show and hearing this music so I was sometimes focused on the wrong things. Oh well. Overall, I love this video. Full stage-shot of Hadestown Broadway filmed from the second row. The only known full video of the OBC post-opening, because the other videos are either a) previews or b) have at least one replacement actor (due to Ahmad Simmons and Afra Hines leaving fairly early) or c) are not quite the full show. Some head obstruction and tilt, but what can be seen is good due to the filmer being so close. A nice capture of this hilarious original show. A very solid and funny cast. Nikki does a fantastic job acting and vocally. On wide shots there can be heads on the sides, but nothing that really obstructs the action. During Broadway previews, less than a month before the official premiere. So there are differences from the Cast Recording. Very nice video of the show however a bar can be visible in wide shots but it doesn't interfere with anything.

Fantastic capture of Wicked. a head blocks some action in the bottom right at times but I work around it so not much is missed. Talia and Brittney slay the house down together where I get goosebumps throughout.
